appearance in New Orleans Wednesday for its plea agreement with the Justice

Department over the company's role in the massive 2010 oil spill in the

Local and national officials for the NAACP are worried about potentially
hazardous waste that's getting dumped in a Jackson County landfill. Tar
Balls, the clean up material from the BP Oil Spill, is getting dumped at
the Campbellton landfill. NAACP officials are looking for answers to
concerning questions.

Lane reopens hours after fiery tanker crash

MADISON COUNTY, Miss. —At least one lane of Interstate 55 was open in
Madison County Wednesday morning, hours after a fiery tanker truck crash
closed the highway for hours.

were at the scene working to clean up the wreckage.

1 lane reopened after I-55 tanker crash

MADISON COUNTY, MS (Mississippi News Now) -Officials have reopened one lane
on Interstate 55 northbound after an 18 wheeler accident shut down the
interstate in Madison County Wednesday morning. Clean-up will likely take
hours, but Mississippi Department of Transportation officials say the
roadway should be completely operational by noon.

La. officials deny EPA violation claim
