Attendees for public meeting tonight

Here's an update on the attendees for the RESTORE Council public meeting
tonight in Biloxi:

We will offer a chance for one on one interviews beginning at 5:00 p.m.
in a piped off section of L4.


Note: Due to a WWE event at the Coliseum, the gate will be collecting
$5 beginning at 5:30, if you inform them at the gate you're here for
the meeting, you will not have to pay.

MDEQ Executive Director Invites Public To Comment On Gulf Restoration

(Jackson, Miss.) – Mississippi Department of Environmental
Quality (MDEQ) Executive Director Trudy Fisher, along with
members of the Gulf Coast Ecosystem Restoration Council, invite
members of the public to comment on the recently released "Path
Forward" document which sets forth an integrated approach to
Gulf restoration.

What: The purpose of the public engagement session is to receive
comments on The Path Forward to Restoring the Gulf Coast, a
document released by the Council in January which describes the
path to develop an initial Comprehensive Plan.

Where: Mississippi Coast Coliseum and Convention Center
2350 Beach Blvd., Biloxi, MS 39531

When: Tuesday, February 19th
5:00 p.m. -- Open House
6:00 p.m. -- Public Engagement Session

Who: The Gulf Coast Ecosystem Restoration Council and the Mississippi
Department of Environmental Quality (MDEQ).

A copy of the "Path Forward" document can be viewed at
http://www.restorethegulf.gov/release/2013/01/29/path-forward-restoring-gulf-coast
. In addition to the public engagement session, comments can be
sent by email to restorecouncil@doc.gov.

Periodically MDEQ will release information on RESTORE Act
activities and meetings. A text group for the public is
