The Louisiana Coastal Protection and Restoration Authority board voted
unanimously Wednesday (Feb. 11) to spend $32 million in oil spill fine
money to pay for a portion of the design and engineering costs of the Houma
Navigation Canal Lock project and Calcasieu River Salinity Control
measures.
