BILOXI, MS (WLOX) -People have been waiting a long time for Popp's Ferry Causeway Park to open in Biloxi. It was originally set to open at the beginning of 2018. That was moved back to May. Here we are in July and Biloxi residents are still looking for a ribbon cutting.
..."What we're doing is making sure we dot every I and cross every T because we're talking about $4 million in grant money. We're very appreciative to the Department of Environmental Quality and Governor Bryant's office. We're asking people to be patient. It'll be several more weeks before it's done," said City Spokesman Vincent Creel.
