Emergency services reported up to 6 inches of rain over a weekend of storms that damaged one Lauderdale County road and stranded several motorists.
Following the storms, the Mississippi Department of Environmental Quality issued a water contact advisory for parts of the Sowashee and Okatibbee Creeks.
