Lawyers for BP will argue Monday before the 5th U.S. Circuit Court of

Appeals that what could amount to billions of dollars in settlement

payments to Gulf Coast businesses and residents who lost money in the 2010

Gulf of Mexico oil spill should be halted, contending that the terms of the

deal are being misinterpreted.
