Lumberton board to apply for Hub Zone program

The Lumberton Board of Aldermen met Tuesday. All aldermen were

present.



•The order to pay Richard Rose for the services rendered in helping

to prepare the budget and enable him to write a letter to the

Mississippi Department of Environmental Quality — in regards to a

DEQ loan — was less amiable. The votes on both motions were 3-2.

A plan by the federal Environmental Protection Agency to dispose of 15
