Study: Oyster reef restoration could boost Gulf Coast economy

EPA approves emergency exemption for state's cotton farmers

JACKSON — The Environmental Protection Agency has approved an emergency
exemption that will help farmers in the Mississippi Delta control tarnished
plant bugs in cotton, according to Mississippi Agriculture Commissioner
Cindy Hyde-Smith.

Endangered sea turtles returned to wild

Ten endangered sea turtles are swimming free again after spending a few
weeks in rehab.




The Kemp's Ridley turtles were accidentally caught by hook-and-line
fishermen, then nursed back to health at the Institute for Marine Mammal
Studies (IMMS) in Gulfport.

Tuscaloosa Marine Shale from ever booming in Louisiana and shift drilling
