Prairie Industrial Site, representatives of Earthcon, Stanley Consultants

time at its meeting Monday afternoon.

settlement

Louisiana spent more than $58 million on outside attorney fees and other
litigation costs to negotiate the more than $20 billion settlement over the
2010 Gulf of Mexico oil spill. The legal fees -- to be reimbursed by BP --
will be paid separately from the more than $8 billion Louisiana is getting
for coastal restoration and other recovery projects, a spokesman for
Attorney General Buddy Caldwell's office said.

Woman awarded $1.6 million over DuPont chemical in water

COLUMBUS, OHIO — An Ohio woman was awarded $1.6 million Wednesday in the
trial of a lawsuit that alleged a chemical from a DuPont Co. plant
contaminated drinking water and contributed to her contracting kidney
cancer.
