BP rig supervisors seek to dismiss manslaughter charges in Deepwater

Attorneys for the two BP rig supervisors charged with manslaughter in the

wake of the Deepwater Horizon disaster say the counts should be dismissed

because they don't apply to conduct on a foreign-owned vessel operating

outside U.S. territory, and that the men weren't responsible for

maintaining or navigating the vessel, which exploded and sank in the Gulf

of Mexico in April 2010.

for oil along our beaches. The BP and the Coast Guard agreed to continue

searching for oil until it's completely gone. The latest reports shows

Escambia and Santa Rosa County beaches are still reporting oil.
