LNG plant in Pascagoula takes next step toward conversion
BY KAREN NELSON
Sun Herald

PASCAGOULA -- Owners of Gulf LNG, which owns the two huge storage tanks
that dominate the horizon southeast of Pascagoula, say it's poised to
become the largest economic development investment in the state's history.
That would be the $8 billion it would cost to convert it from a liquefied
natural gas import terminal to one that brings in U.S. natural gas, chills
it to a liquid and exports it to other countries.

Could King v. Burwell spell bad news for the EPA?

Washington Post

King v. Burwell was a tremendous victory for the Obama Administration.

interpretation of the PPACA, the Court nonetheless agreed with the
Administration that the law must allow for tax credits in states with
federally established health insurance exchanges. As readers know, I was
quite involved with this debate and I offered some preliminary thoughts on
the decision here.

Clarion Ledger

Mississippi has been blessed with an additional $1.5 billion in
settlement money from the 2010 BP oil spill. Half of that money is
earmarked for environmental restoration and other projects on the
Coast. The other half will end up in the state's general fund for
lawmakers to decide how to spend.
