Robert Abrams and Hattiesburg Integrity Oversight, Inc. is challenging the Hattiesburg City Council's adoptions of and amendments to city ordinances in a special called meeting held on April 28.

An accident on Highway 42 near Petal has resulted in a chemical spill.
The driver of a truck carrying pesticide lost control after the left front tire of the truck blew out.

New Costco slowly moves forward in Ridgeland

TUPELO – Demand for larger recycling bins in Tupelo continues to outstrip the limited supply available.
Waste Management annually gives away 100 rollaway recycling containers similar in size to the 96-gallon waste bins provided to city residents.
